Starting your health journey with Sprout Health is straightforward. Here’s what to expect from your first visit through ongoing treatment.
Step 1: Check If You Qualify
Start by taking a quick health assessment. This helps us understand your medical history and health goals.
Important: Completing the assessment doesn’t guarantee approval. Our providers review each case individually to ensure treatment is right for you.
Step 2: Choose Your Plan & Complete Medical Forms
After selecting a plan, you’ll complete a detailed medical questionnaire. This form helps your provider:
- Understand your complete health picture
- Check if FDA-approved medications could work for you
- Determine if compounded medication might be necessary
Step 3: Provider Review
A licensed healthcare provider carefully reviews your information. They will:
- Review your medical history, current medications, and goals
- Check if an FDA-approved product is right for you
- Determine if compounded medication is medically necessary
If your provider determines treatment isn’t appropriate, your order will be cancelled and you’ll receive a refund according to our policy.
Step 4: Medication Preparation & Shipping
If approved, your prescription goes to a state-licensed pharmacy that specializes in compounded medications.
- Typical shipping timeline: 3-7 business days
- Timelines may vary based on pharmacy workload and your location
- You’ll receive tracking information when available
Step 5: Receive & Inspect Your Medication
When your package arrives, check it right away:
Check temperature: The package should feel cool. If it’s warm or the cold pack is completely melted, contact us before using the medication.
Inspect the vial: Look for any discoloration, floating particles, cloudiness, or damage. Don’t use medication that looks abnormal.
Check the label: Make sure it shows your name, medication name, concentration (mg/mL), and expiration date.
Refrigerate immediately: Store at 36-46°F (2-8°C) unless the label says otherwise.
⚠️ SAFETY FIRST - Before Your First Injection:
Review your prescribed dosage:
- Medication concentration (mg/mL)
- Your prescribed dose in milligrams
- The correct volume to draw in your syringe
Don’t assume “units” on the syringe equal milligrams—they often don’t. If you have any questions prior to starting your medication, please contact your medical provider.
Step 6: Begin Treatment
Your shipment includes injection supplies and detailed instructions. Follow all guidance carefully.
Take your medication exactly as prescribed. Don’t change your dose without talking to your provider first.
